Port O'Connor is about 2.5 hours or less drive. I will be happy to help you. Most people who visit actually prefer it to Port A.

30 minutes south of the bass pro in pearland. Well dang, I was hoping you were closer to me up here north of Dallas about a hour. If you ever make you way up here give me a shout. Your more then welcome to come fishing with me.

I haven't fished with him, but against him in kayak tournaments on the coast. One tournament in Freeport we fished the same waters and he spanked me, not surprisingly since it was his home waters. The man really knows the waters down there. He's really knowledgeable about the sport and has a friendly personality. I also enjoyed speaking with him at captain's meetings and after the tournaments. Here's a recent thread over on Texas Kayak Fisherman about a Galveston guide where most who replied recommend Rick. Click

[/quote ] Absolutely, I fish here in Ray Roberts quite often. I only have two kayaks I can put you in right now. The Wilderness Ride 115, and the Ride 135. They are some kind if cool kayaks to be out in though. I think the best way to get to know a fishing kayak is to go out fishing in it. Just give me a shout when your ready.
