To start with get i liter of Everclear 190 proof,1 gallon of Apple cider and 1 gallon of Apple juice 4 sticks of cinnomon and 1 1/4 cups of white table sugar.
mix both apple juice and cider together along with sugar and sticks of cinn. boil until sugar is dissolved. when cool add everclear, and bottle.
Now what i do is make 1/2 of a batch. Man this stuff is sooooo smooth that my nondrinking wife even likes it.
If you want to stain it you can but i don't see any reason to do it. Now if you wanted to make Apple Jack just omitt cider.
Enjoy. Mark

When bottled, should it be stored in the fridge? or on the shelf only?

Ok guys I'llpass along someone else's recipe for HARD LEMONADE. I posted my "apple pie shine recipe over on the hunting forum and someone was kind enough to pass his along
This ,he said makes about 3 quarts. First get 2 cups of fresh lemon juice,6 cups of water, and 2 cups of sugar. Now add water and sugar and heat until sugar dissolves. When it's cooled off add the 2 cups of lemon juice and 2cups of everclear. Now he said to use 151,me i would use the 190 stuff since it's what i have left over from my apple pie. I haven't tried it yet but will. Good luck mark
