School doesn't start until 10:30 this week so I got out on the lake early and was only able to fish 2 hours. Hung this 6.28 on my last cast!!!!

good fish! i fished joe pool from 9-4 today and noticed there were 20+ boats out on a monday. half were in the area where bill wilcox guest from honeyhole caught the 10 pounder. saw 73 degree water temps today but no spawners.

Ever since Honey Hole aired the show with the 10 lb. fish, the grass area on the west side of the lake has been hammered. The size of the fish and numbers that I have been catching over the last month have gone down hill every week and now it is not worth fishing. Pretty much only catching dinks now.

Ya no kidding. That lake can be like fork with traffic but it's smaller and sucks most of the time

We've been catching some decent bass on Joe Pool recently, not anything super big but several between 4-6LBS. been catching them in 10 ft on plastics and crank baits. Went back out Tuesday this week, we caught 17 all under 2 lbs, but the wind was brutal, and after 2 hours we left. If you havent given Joe Pool a try you should. And yes your right the places Wilcox(honey hole mag) fished are getting hammered..
