What type of fishing? Live bait, lures? That will determine the action, as far as brand, falcon. The caras are awesome! made in the US and have a lifetime warranty. Low riders are sweet too.

I just read the post where you were looking for the reel. So using it for poping corks, jig head gulp. I would get the cara/low rider finess jig or head turner...I take my head turner and finess jig rods in salt and they handle the inshore fish fine.

They don't carry them anymore. Go to cabales or basspro and handle them. Then go online and buy. Much cheaper on line. I mite be heading to the coast in a few weeks. And you can handle mine. What part do you live on?

Have the falcon coastal 7'6 medium, it's pretty legit. I throw topwaters/Plastics with it.

The falcon coast is sweet. I have the 7' and use it to throw lures and live bait and it is pretty smooth!
