Anyone been to Richland Chambers and fish around the 287 bridge or the island lately and caught any crappie? Are they in the creeks?

Also would like to know, haven't been there in years. Never had much luck at RC, don't know any good spots at all.

Years ago I use to tear the crappie up on the bridge coming out of Kerens. It's been so long I can't even remember the highways name. I took a right in Kerens and launched at the first ramp. Someone bring me back to where I launched. I'm pretty sure it was a farm to market road. We baited some trees with dog food and tore them up. It was about 1992 and 1993.

Friday did awesome on crappie at Navarro and Saturday caught 15 crappie at chambers messing around while catfishing. In about an hour before dark I wish I figured out they were there sooner I could have got a limit they were on every stick.
