The event takes place on the Brazos River in Waco. Saturday April 6th starting at 7 a.m. Anyone can come out and fish member or not. Hope to see you there. Here's the map link Waco Swim

Are there any equipment restrictions other than the normal ones (like no treble hooks, must have a knot less net, landing mats, etc.)?

Are there any equipment restrictions other than the normal ones (like no treble hooks, must have a knot less net, landing mats, etc.)? nope. dont worry about nets or landing mats if you dont have them, there will always be a net and mat around to use. if you need some rigs im sure we can fix you up with them too. bring what you got.

Guys, id watch the weather over the next couple of days. Remember what ahppened last time we tried to fish after all that rain? River was flowin 50moh, lol. Maybe a local can give it a look over on fri afternoon to make sure its still fishable? Jist a thought.

I already have the numbers to call and find out if the dams will be opened after the rain or not.That was the issue last time,but there was more rain at that point as well.

Yep. Baseball in the morning; Band in the afternoon. I'm out.
I wish I had had more notice- I would have had Mansfield move the district recitals to Thursday and have the YMCA pushed the start of Baseball back a week.
