Had a couple days time to kill in Oklahoma, decided to go fishing. Two days, 4 lakes.....sureshot, minnows, worms, cut bait and whole perch.
Ended up catching a dozen perch and one channel cat, about 20 inches long.....got to watch some jerk run over one of my poles after it blew out of my truck, broke the tip on another rod in that fiasco.
I'm about fed up with bad outings, need a good one to make up.......
I have spent many hours feeding many different species of fish.........and on occasion land a few.

And you blame him for running over a rod in the road that you did not secure?

I blame myself for it blowing out yes. I blame him for running over the rod when my truck is parked on the side of the road, hazards flashing next to the lane the rod was in while I am standing between the truck and rod about to grab it. I thought they were swerving to miss the rod, but no they swerved and ran over my reel right in front of me....

The whole experience makes me want to grab all my gear and get back out there so I can make up for it.

Hey I'm a hippy that doesn't like obama! Sorry about your gear. Hope lesson learned. Secure your gear. Better luck next time.
