If I lived up there I would take you up on the offer. Docks and Boat Slips will be getting very active around Mid April and will stay that way up until Mid October.

Ray Hubbard is close to me. If things go right I will go. Do we fish on the docks or the rocks? I have never fished there before.

It would be the docks at harbor bay marina. Either friday night or saturday afternoon.

Indeed we should all meet up. Samuel Farm would also be a good place to fish. A lot of walking involved there, but there is some good gillz and bass in those ponds.

I'm trying to get out there tonight if possible.. but Ive never fished without a light at night what kind of bait do you guys suggest i use? Spinner Bait?
I heard the docks right now are gonna be good.. Thanks!
When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything you gave me.

I heard the docks right now are gonna be good.. Thanks! I've heard that a small spinnerbait is great this time of the year on Ray Hub. I like the micro unibody bass style spinners as opposed to the jig and elbow spinner harness type. An in-line spinner would not be my choice at night unless you're fishing a Mepps Thunderbug or something similar with a lot of thump. I tend to stay with the elbow spinners, especially in water that is stained or has color in it. If you want to go the spinnerbait route, I suggest the Booyah Pond Magic spinnerbait and the Micro Pond Magic spinnerbait. In stained water, I like a black or chartreuse skirt with a black or gold colorado blade or willow/colorado blade combo. I tend to lean toward a single colorado blade and will sometimes up my blade size and color it with a black sharpie. I also carry a few small Johnson Silver Minnows that I've painted with black nail polish for just such an occasion. They have worked well for me at night where ever grass, rock, wood or docks are present. A small floating jointed minnow bait is always good if there is a ton of grass to cover. A boot tail or solid curl tail grub is also in my tackle box for stained water, night time bream fishing. Glow colors work well. I like a color called Halloween carried by Southern Pro, but black or any two color combo with black in ti works well enough. Keep the tri colors for the day time. Black/Blue is also a killer!
