ok so ive gotten into making my own chum and my question(probably a dumb one) we chumming do i need to cast right where im chumming or just in the area?? because there's no way i can get my chum where i throw my rods lol do i just chum as far out as i can then just toss the rods into the middle?

Chum where you fish. They are up shallow now, so you usually don't need to throw far.

I vertical fish with a floating treble hook baited with punch bait, after chumming a few spots (5). I work my way from spot #1 to #5 and back.
Probing brush for crappie is my game!

get a wiffle ball bat with the large barrel , cut off end of bat , duck tape hole in the handle . Use a cup and put a couple of scoops in the bat . you can really broadcast it well with this trick and it is not messy at all

I chum right under the boat with a coffee can full one for each rod station. No sens in feeding them like you would if you broad cast it.
I said a fish fish fish fish fish fishin Im goin fishin hook sinker and line.
