I've had some success using peanut butter when making my boilies, but they turned out a bit on the soft side. I've never tried coating them in peanut butter though...

Chances are you'll try it before I do, most of our waterways are still covered in ice up here. Be lucky to find open water with carp, though I did get one in early April last year. May go out to prospect late next week if I'm lucky, otherwise I'll probably be out chasing lakers on Lake Champlain the following week.

I once caught a nice carp using a doughball I made out of a piece of peanut butter sandwich I was eating...

And I thought I was the non Texas dude on here... I've got some spots that stay open most of the year, but the river is over 1000 miles long, so s you can imagine, the carp aren't readily found everywhere, especially when the water is this cold.

Still 2 feet in some spots here. Today is the season closer in this zone for most game fish, still plenty of people out getting their last ice fishing of the season done. But carp remains open year round.
