Why so serious. Yeah , I don't understand griping about too many threads about ivie. Fork has a buttload more than ivie. Besides I think the more people talk about ivie more people will go and after the last couple years all the people trying to make a living down there need all the business they can get. I may stop by tomorrow and grab lunch at elm.creek while on my way to brownwood, a bacon cheeseburger does sound good..

No one is complaining about the informational threads about Ivie.....I think everyone wishes those existed. What people (myself) are complaining about are the 3-5 threads started everyday titled "IVIE" and when you open them they say "Anyone been to Ivie". The complaint originated because I suggested we should consolidate those and that folks should use the search function. You ever tried to search for information on Ivie here? You get 50 results and all are threads just like mentioned above with absolutely no info in them. LMAO....Maybe there should be a sticky thread up top called "Ivie Updates". I agree that Jerry and his team are awesome and can use the business and I try to get down there as often as I can.

Sorry for the lame attempt at sarcasm Steve and Fish Hunter. If you go back to the recent posts on Ivie you will know this was not directed at y'all. In fact it was quite the opposite. I look forward to posts about Ivie and am heading down saturday for a couple days.

I did see a picture on one of my facebook friends of a 13.46 caught at Ivie. Not sure if it was this week or not though. It appeared to be. The fisherman said that he did not take it in, instead C,P, and R.
I caught a pretty one today that went 7.4# shallow on a jig. Fifth cast of the morning.Caught a couple of others but smaller. Quit at noon for a Jerry hamburger and came home.

No, I really shouldnt. I didn't fish it at all last yr, had a few meals at elm creek but never hit the water..

Fished the Special Olympics Tournament last weekend. 21.32 (3 fish tourney) won. It was very slow. The fish that were caught were beginning to move in. I hope the warm weather will activate'em. Maybe this weekend?
