I have heard story's of guys whackin big females on buzz baits big swim baits and soft plastics at night on the full moon spawn push on the flats any opinions on this I personally caught main lake schoolers in 51 degree water at 2am this year on a sandbass trip on EM we boated about 20 buck bass off a main lake point burning roadrunners so that in it self says you never know

It makes since and would seem oblivious that night time is when the big girls are coming up at night looking for a bed and would be less particular on bait presentation
My other thought is about 5 dozen shiners on glow corks would be a party

Yes, but you might want to incorporate a few periods into your question.
Find LARGE beds that are active but vacant, or those where fish swim off when you get w/in 20 yards. Beds on shallow but steep banks will hold the larger females. Flag those with tape on a twig or stump closest to the bed. Mark the location of the bed and the EXACT numbers for your flag on your map or electronics.
Return under the cloak of darkness, when conditions favor this spot, and SMOKE 'EM! I use a SUREFIRE flashlight shielded with my hand, during my approach. NEVER shine a light directly in your path, nor on the bed you're targeting.
Good Luck!

I'd say I fish at night 90% of the time. It's a lot cooler in the summer months and less traffic to deal with. Plus I catch bigger fish at night. Black w/blue flake power worm does the trick
