Has anyone ponied up the $90 for the money pole lure retriever yet? It seems a lot better built than other extendable ones that I've seen.

I made my own with from a golf ball retriever. Remove the end and replace it with a coil I made out of a paint can handle. You can find all kinds of different sizes at Walmart and Academy.

I've always used a 1.5 oz bell weight with a snap attached. Get right over the lure, snap the weight on the line. Weight goes to the lure, jiggle it. Lure comes loose.
However, I've seen Horton use that one on his show. It looks really good too.

i am having trouble finding a place where you can get the money pole. i would buy one.. One of our bassproshops is selling them. I have a plug knocker but it does little good when you can't get directly over top of it. I fish a lot of shallow riprap and laydowns that you can't get overtop of.

If you can get over the top your own fishing pole works just fine.

I bought mine from Timmy at the Classic Expo show in New Orleans. He was leaving the show and I ran into him on the street outside. I asked how much he would take and got it for $60. I have retrieved a lot of Crankbaits with it. You get a few Lucky Crafts back and it pays for itself pretty quick.

If you can get over the top your own fishing pole works just fine. I've had to replace guides doing that. Won't do it in rock. I need to ask why they have it and no other BPS have it. Its the one in Independence MO.

Oh my freaking G*D!!! This is no knock on anyone here or maybe it is??? But that has to be the STUPIDEST thing I have seen for 90 bucks? For petes sake, use a plug knocker with 26 ft + retractable dog leash and save your money!
Wow no wonder bass boats are 70 grand cause some of yall will just spend money on anything!!! If this is all it takes to make money from fisherman I really need to come up with something lame and get a pro to indorse!
Sorry not so much of a humble opinion so Ill say its just my opinion!

I have exactly what you're talking about. It does no good when you're stuck in rocks 15 foot away from the boat with only a foot and a half or less water to play with. I don't like taking my expensive boat in to get all scratched up on those rocks.
