Zona pegged him pretty good when he turned the situation around.

I know he's a good guy but it is just one side from a "car salesman". Good responses/explanations though.

Whether Alton was right or wrong I'll leave to you folks that know more about tournament fishing than me. I will say Alton has handled himself and this situation in a more classy and professional manner than Rojas!

I think he is just making excuses for a poor decision he made.

Agree, but I'll never know what its like to be in the running for that kinda bread in a fishing tournament, that being considered, if I were I would be wondering aloud with alot of expletives directed at Alton, why of all places along this 50+ mile run did he have to come within 30 yards of my spot! Cmon man! Really!!

I have no dog in this fight but I still say Alton did nothing wrong and Rojas handled the situation poorly, he should have had a conversation with Jones before the final day started.

I feel Alton is a stand up guy and he did what he thought gave him a shot at winning. Communication is important and that probably would have made the situation not quite as severe. In my opinion, Alton gave a good explanation and did what he did for a good reason.
