Thinking about taking 12 ft jon Boat and an ultra light down the creek but not sure where to do it. In and out at 2 different spots.

Help...

The Cibolo is a GREAT Creek to fish. Lots of big fish. coolio As for paddling it the one who can answer all of your questions is the Kayak King himself "Drrouter"! He has caught some super fish on the Cibolo while on his Yak including one MONSTER of a Channel Cat! eeks

Sorry, I have not floated down that far yet! But you're on the right track!

Some areas of the creek are quite narrow and a jon boat might not be an ideal craft to navigate the creek, especially if you have to port the boat over shallow spots or spillways.

If you want a good in and out area, Zuehl's Crossing is a great spot, it is easily accessible and has some very deep pockets for big fish. I hope this helps. PM me if you want more info.

Plus #1 on "Drrouter". He was made some awesome videos on that creek and has also taken some fantastic pictures. cheers
