FIRST POST
Have a chance to go to Texoma this weekend. Havent been yet this year. Weather looks iffy but I have the itch. I mostly fish around Newberry creek and Lakeside. Has anyone got into them? Sure would be nice to clean a mess. But maybe I should wait a couple weeks. Don't get to go as much as I want so when I get the kitchen pass I don't want to burn it up on a skunk sandwich.

Word around the campfire is, they're catchin up at cumberland. Don't know how seeing that the lake is 6' low. Probably bankers, if I were to guess. You still got lots of good spots between newberry and 70, namely glasses creek for prespawners.

The bite has been good around docks on north end of lake. The change of weather may change it.

Take this advice! You're a lucky man.

Well finally got all dried off. Never sniffed any sign of a crappie. I was hoping they might be moving up but the only thing I found moving up were all the spots I like. Lake is low did catch a few largemouth and found out my rain gear is just water resistant not water proof but we didn't break anything so all in all I say it was a sucessfull trip.

Switched the reservation to the 12th
I CAN BE TALKED INTO ANYTHING
starting to think maybe I should get back to the basics but it sure is fun seeing what everyone else's opinions are. My mind is going in 5 million directions. But all the directions are leading to hot frying pan.
