 I am in the process of getting skunked......need help in the Arlington area!!!!!!

At bowman springs park with sureshot and not even getting a nibble.....any help for bank acces would be great.
I have spent many hours feeding many different species of fish.........and on occasion land a few.

Try the mouth of a creek or a cove.

I have been moving up and down the "fishing pier" here....absolutely nothing. Feel like a wasted money on this bait today.
I have spent many hours feeding many different species of fish.........and on occasion land a few.

ok I'm no expert, ESPECIALLY when it comes to stinkbait, but it seems like the water would be to cold for the smell to really disperse well.
Have you considered changing baits maybe cut or live bait?

Go over to the Arkansas ramp and fish there...deeper water nearby. Bowman Springs may be too shallow for now. Channels don't spawn until water gets into 70's.

I understand your frustration but I would love to be able to just be out there and have the chance at it skunk or not--
Bet I'm not the only one.

Don't have any. Have been tryin to catch some but with no luck. Got any perch hooks you can put bread or most anything on to try to catch a panfish=cut bait.

Not totally skunked.....Caught a 5.5 - 6 lbs largemouth
