The Annual Brownwood Bass Club Open tournament on Lake Brownwood will be on Sunday April 7th, 2013. Hours are 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. Entry fee is as follows: Open division - $40.00 big bass is included and 1st place is a Guaranteed $1200.00. Ladies Division - $15.00 with option of $5.00 for big bass pot for a total of $20.00 and 1st place is guaranteed $50.00. Junior Division(16 years old and younger) - $10.00 with option of $5.00 for big bass pot for a total of $15.00 and 1st place is guaranteed $50.00. ONLY ONE DIVISION MAY BE ENTERED BY AN INDIVIDUAL

It is a 3 fish stringer with the weigh-in line opening up at 2:30 pm and closing at 3:00pm sharp. Only one Big Bass place can be won by a contestant with 3 places paid as 50%, 30%, 20%

Registration will be at Mt. View Lodge from 5:00PM to 10:00PM on Saturday, April 6th and 5:00AM to 6:00AM Sunday morning of the tournament, April 7th. Weigh In will also be at Mt. View Lodge closing at 3:00PM Sharp. Usable ramps at the lake at the time of this post are at the Dam, Brownwood State Park, Mt. View Lodge and Wild Duck Marina.

Why not have the registration and weigh-in at the Wild Duck it's a much better place than Mt. View. The owner of the Wild Duck would like the business Mt. View has nothing to offer.

They were worried about places to beach thier boats. Wild Duck Marina won't open up till April 13th the week after the open.

Fishing has been good. Should be a good tournament.

Had alot of fun, I placed 15. 6.52 got my money's worth.

Is there any results posted for the Brownwood Open ? How many fished etc.
