Looks to me like 10lb bass can be caught on just about anything. My 14.7 came on a 12in black Power Worm on a Texas rig, 11.2 on a chigger craw Texas rig and my 3 10`s all were on a big brush hog Carolina rigged. Like whats been said if you will fish a lot where big fish are really increases your chances of catching a DD

Not braggin, but this year so far, I have a 10.4, two-9+ a couple of 8's and three at 7 and two at 6, all on the same bait and also my 13.11 came on that bait. IT mostly depends on where you are fishing too. Swimm Bait

Hmmm, Jig/Pig but I agree with the above - It depends on where you swim it! Fork bass seem to be enough to spawn deeper cus of pressure on the lake. John Hope might agree

One on a 7" red worm, one on a roboworm sourpuss. Location is more important than bait choice, I believe. I feel that I could take a black jig and fish one brush pile on Cypress Springs for many days or months, and catch another DD. big fish hunting requires lots of patience. My two were caught unexpectedly just fun fishing.
