I'm throwing Seagar Invisx on most of my rods, and love it for the most part. The only drawback I am experiencing is the issue with line memory especially in cold weather. I'm thinking about using some line conditioner in an effort to combat this problem, but wanted to hear what you all have had success with.

I use sunline and the KVD line conditioner makes an already smooth fluoro even better. I wasn't sold on the KVD stuff because I had used Ardent Line butter and it didn't do squat for me. Gave the KVD a try and it's like night and day

To help with line memory I use a line conditioner but I can't remember which kind....I crack myself up sometimes!!! +1 on kvd but be sure to read the instructions (a good friend pointed this out to me) and spray it the night before you go fishing. Makes a world of difference.

Pard something is wrong. I have very little memory with InvizX. Been fishing it for several years and I do`nt think you should be having memory with fresh Seagar InvisX in 12 or 15lb

Stretch about 30 yards of line out and hold it good and tight for 45 seconds or so. Then as you reel it back up put KVD conditioner on it. This works.

KVD L&L Conditioner. Fluoro is notorious for being brittle in cold weather. Kinks in fluoro due to "professional overrun" only compounds the problem. And we all get them. KVD the night before, during the day and before you store them. Tying off to a fixed object, spooling all the line off then reeling back on, under tension, works wonders!

Purdy,
It could be a bad batch come to think of it. The issue is much worse with the 15 I have on 3 rods, but very minimal with the rods I have 12 and 20 on. Thanks for helping me answer my own dadgum question.

Cold weather really accentuates the line coil situation. KVD or No More Tangles hair conditioner will take them out. Works great on 20 lb Red Label floro and even 20 lb Big Game mono.

What I like to do is make a long cast, pull out some extra line, spray my fingers with KVD and let the line slide through my fingers under some tension reeling it in. next cast there will be a big difference in line memory. This is just what I do and it works good, everyone has different ways it looks like.
