DD-22 is what I caught mine on, but I know that by far, the Jig is what has produced more big fish than any other bait.

You can catch a 10lb bass on any bait if you fish enough water that has big fish in it. But overall, a jig any time of year.

I have one DD on a crankbait, the rest have all been on worms.

I would think it would matter where you were fishing too. In Cali it's probably a swim bait for sure but in Texas it can be ANYTHING. My biggest bass is a 9.93 and it came on a c-rig fluke and I know of many DD's that have been caught on traps, jigs, crank baits, drop shots, etc.

I have caught one fish over 10 and it was caught on a top water (Zara Spook) before the sun came up. She destroyed it and the fight was unreal!
