I just bought the H20 Ethos 7' M... i think a great rod for the $$ Disregard this advice. These are no good because they don't cost 3 digits. <<where's the sarcasm smiley?>> And don't even think about the magnum cranker they offer in 7"10" Not one to be found at Academy today.

Go to tackle warehouse and look at the red Powell max rods the 7'11" .this rod can throw it all 10x,6x,dd22,.a real good rod. I thought it was only rated up to 3/4 oz and the big plugs like th 6XD and ff shad are 1 oz. Does going over the weight rating really matter?

Duckett 7'11" MH micro magic or a St Croix mojo 7'8" big crankster. I own both and they are great.

St. Croix Mojo Bass 7'8" is what I throw. Can't beat it! Haven't lost a SINGLE fish since I started throwing it, and it handles 20'+ divers, squarebills and regular lipless great!

think about getting a new crank rod any suggestions was looking at shimano rods has anyone have any good things to say about them or the carrot stick Do yourself a favor and check out a St. Croix Avid Series Crankbait Rod, 7' MH Moderate Action. Lifetime warranty, great action, lightweight, quality cork, extremely durable, sensitive...and the list goes on. You will be happy with this rod, it can handle everything from lightweight finesse crankbaits to heavy deep diving baits.
