I fished the second day of kckl at cedar creek today and it was windy. It was white capping in the back of caney.

caught a 10.02 yesterday and today it was 3-5 swells on stillhouse and the 30 mph wind was not very fun got skunked!! thank god i was in my Champion!!!!

Fished the Police Activity League (PAL) tourney on Conroe today. Tough bite. It was an hourly payout and one hour only 2 fish were weighed in. I heard a couple of folks swamped their boats and one sank on the north end. Daddy always said "Son, if you're going to be stupid, you better be tough" and "Education, no matter how you get it, is expensive" Agree and glad we decided to stay and learn from TFF today

I fished today in the KCKL and we caught 15 or so fish. It was tough the wind and waves put a whoopin in us but we cashed a check and got an awesome Dobyns rod in the drawing.

Fished the Texas Bass Couples tourney on EM today, ran from harbor one ramp over to big carter and wasn't sure I was going to make it back, it was rough out there. Caught one 13" fish for my troubles.
There was a 7+ and a 6+ weighed in.
Broke my trailer winch when I put the boat on the trailer and had to tie it up and limp home.

Fished a little lake for 8 hours, My hands are still wind burned! but I caught a bunch! Only one other boat out there

Fished Palastine for first 3 hours of daylight. Caught 2 and had a big one break me off around a tree ! Brutally windy!

Fished Ignition Bass on Conroe out of Stowaway. Caught 5, but only had like 12 lbs. n out to the main lake, and the swells were every bit of 5ft. I'm Crazy, but not Stupid.
Go figure, the few guys that ran it, came back with big sacks!
To me its not worth breaking $2,000 of equipment to win $1,500

I used to enjoy that sort of stuff until my transom cracked and I almost sank. Not for me.
