just the fact that you say it I sure will not fish it. I watched a guy last week fish right next to an No fishing and trespassing sign. stupid is what stupid do.
Now I would say if you want to try this place then rhodes54 has given a place to call " Huffines estate"
Like I said ask at the buildings at the ponds but ASK! try to find an owner of the pond that helps so much.

You say a $285.00 fine how do you know this help us understand why we would not want to fish this place did you get a fine are you the PD help us.
Don't the PD or the estate have to post a sign that says no fishing or pay a fine of $285.00 Hey if its true thanks bud I don't need a ticking for that at all.

I would never even thought about calling the carrolton PD on this. I bet allot of ponds that if I called the PD they would say What pond is that and why are you calling us to fish it?

Well, it is quite possible that if you post when you might fish this location that Rhodes made be the one who drops a dime on you to the Carrollton PD. lol

Hummm, road going down to the pond is pretty worn down from use. No signage at all, if your buddy was ticketed he should have no problem getting that dropped. Once the officer notified him he was trepassing he had the right to leave without being fined. There is no visual notification at that location. Also, the pond is in Lewisville not Carrollton.

I've fished at least three times. Some bass and bluegill. Have driven down to the shoreline. The path to the pond is is well worn quite frankly. I can't say that it's patrolled. And there are definitely no signs.

Check for purple paint marks on the trees as well. Has to be like 3 or 4 feet high. That is the "trespass" signal in the trespass law for Texas. If those marks are there then it is considered posted.

I would guess it holds LMB, Catfish, Carp, & Bluegill
