Was too windy today to take the kayak out so I headed down to the creek by my house to just mess around.... I couldn't get the bluegill to take any of my small grubs so I thought what the heck ill use something a little bigger just for grins... T rigged a craw and chunked it in some cover... Missed the first bite but got a good set on the second.

Not bad for a little creek bass! Thanks for all of the advice... Ill keep the practice up!

Love platics! Creek fishing can be fun too. A lot of people over look them but they can be some low pressure fun fishing.

Is that an H20 spinning set up you are using? Just curious because I just bought one similar and was wondering what you thought about it. Way to go on the catch!

It is... I got a smoking deal on it at $19.99 a while back... I have a so so opinion on it... For 20 bucks its awesome... But it doesn't seem like it is that well made. Also... I broke the rod tip on it yesterday, but I like the reel enough I will use it on another rod

I got mine for the same price when they had the combo riot. Figured I couldn't go wrong for $20 and that the reel was probably worth at least that. Did'nt really expect much out of that rod though.
