Bent prop shaft on a stump at the Bob this past weekend. Anyone in the DFW area who can straighten back to specs without replacing or is it even an option? Seems pretty mild and no other visible lower unit damage but does vibrate.
Thanks, Bradley

Hardest stumps in the world. I have bent two there myself. There is a place down by austin that will straighten them, not sure of the name though. Most people claim them on insurance. It is very expensive to replace.

It would be wise to have the prop shaft checked. I dinged mine while idling. The prop had a barely noticeable dent but six months later for yearly maintenece they had beat the prop off because the shaft was slightly bent.

I've had good luck with B & B for prop work in the past, but wasn't aware they did prop shaft work either.
