Fishing Highsaw / Ledbetter to middle bridge this weekend when not chasing crappie. Any reports? I will post mine Friday and Saturday.

Been rough. Winds have not been our friend. You'll be in great area. I believe the sand bass have spawned . Our hybrid population is dismal. Good luck.

Right now really isn't the time to be trolling palestine yet. It's very effective in the summer. Right now all the fish are literally hugging the bottom, so much that they're hard to see with your down and side scan. Really gotta be able to read a sonar to find them. A slab bounced off the bottom fairly slow has been the ticket for me.

Went out for a couple of hours today in between the rain and did pretty good on whites. Found them in 15 fow in the midlake area and they were fairly active. Caught 35-40 on 1 oz silver slab in short order. Birds even worked for a while. No hybrids. As sandbasscamp said, they all looked spawned out. Heres a screen shot from today.

Jpowell was right. Not the time to be trolling. Only 1 caught while trolling

Today I would definitely check the south bank. Ought to be able to just pick em up floppin on the ground. The wind is vicious.
