For Bass? what are they biting on and where on the lake are you finding the hydrilla?

i would start with a rattletrap and watch your graph from 8-10 ft of water and in. bass

ive had a lot of luck with rattle traps this week....even just standing at the boat ramps

I have not had any luck with anything this year on JP... yet.
But I only fish JP and in years past, nothing has out fished a silver rattletrap on that lake. I've hooked countless whitebass and a few giant black bass on those lures. I don't know what it is but the fish at JP like the silver rattletraps.

I got in to sandies the other day and it was non stop on slabs and a grub about a 1 1/2 ft above that. Catching 2 at a time was great!
