Yeah. Pretty good actually. Wind was brutal. I hit up the apartment at Royal. Missed first hit. Lost a pounder at the bank couple casts later. Got four in pound range. Two that were at least three pounds. Plucked one off a bed. Seen it walking the bank.

I have been averaging 7-8 fish (Bass & Crappie) every trip and I go every other night.. The wind has never been a factor... Between 10pm-11pm. I even went out at 1:30am and the bite was on!!! I never cast out, just walk along the walkway. Wednesday night, I hooked one of the biggest Crappies I have ever caught..

Went today for a while. Never had tried it before but did. Had trouble finding a spot to park legally or without paying. It was Lake Carolyn I believe near the Chamber of Commerce building. Caught 3 nice LMB one was at least 4.5. Where is this Red Hot and Blue place everybody is talking about?

Also I've only gone once to Red hot And Blue but didn't catch anything there. What bites the best? What bait should I be using?

Bite was non existent on Saturday. Threw everything we had at them. Fred lost one that hit too close to the bank. He couldn't get a proper hook set. That was about the only excitement. We went after the storm rolled through, which normally would have paid off. Guessing the temp change shut them down big time. There was a brief period where the sun came out, the fish started jumping everywhere. But as soon as the clouds covered the sun the activity shut off. This was at the apartments on Royal and Mac.

Just got home from over there. Wind was blowing good. But managed 2 on a Grande Bass Megatail Rattlesnake black/blue fleck on a Texas rig. Lost one on a short line. Tried to let it hook itself but didn't quite get it done. Lost it just at the grass line. Biggest of the two went for about 2lbs. Didn't stay long. Maybe a couple hours. Had to walk and work the bank pretty hard for what I caught.
Met Goldspoonr there. Talked to him a few minutes before he had to get back to work. Should be over there tomorrow also.
