My daughter caught what I think is a drum. She is five and may have had a lake junior record. Can post the pic from my iPad.

That's awesome. Can't wait to see the pic! I caught one in my cast net at the marina that was at least six pounds!

I caught one at Joe Pool a few years ago. I had no idea what it was.

Yeah, my daughter caught it on a Barbie pole. I will try to upload the photo. The record is like two lbs, sure she would have had both. How do I post a pic from my phone?

Those things get massive, I caught a giant when I was a kid in the trinity, measured just under 30inches if I remember correctly

Sorry so late with pic. Her face was priceless as the fish started jumping like a bass.

I caught about a 4# drum there about a year ago on a blue/white spinner bait.
Nice fish

Thats a freshwater drum aka Gasper Goo in some parts. I used to catch them when I was young. Crawfish or Grass Shrimp did the trick for me. Even caught them on rooster tails. I caught some over 30 inches off the Trinity River in my home town of Anahuac.
