Just curious what everyone things might be the best place to bank fish for large flatheads, blues, channels, etc.
So far my research is pointing towards: Lake Lavon (Flatheads), Lake Ray Hubbard (Blues), Lake Tawakoni (Flatheads, Blues), South Trinity River (Flatheads).
Thx.

Lake Worth (some monster blue are there, but don't eat fish out of LW)
The pursuit (where are the fish), rigs design and setup, scouting, the awesome feeling of casting your rigs 100+ yards out, the total focus on the fish and the elements, the outdoors... the total exhaustion at the end of your fishing day,... the cooler full of fish to bring home... Yeah, I'm going to miss bank fishing!

Thanks guys. I absolutely love the Ft.Worth Trinity river. I've had some great success there with Carp & Longnose Gar. Not too much luck with the Cats, but to be honest, I haven't fished alot for Cats there. I may have to put in a few days there and see what I can pull out. One of my favorite spots is Rockwood Golf Course.
Lake Worth is an incredible fishery. I have done well there for Carp/Buffalo, had limited success for cats. Again..may have to put in more time there. It's been a while but I just usually fish under the 820 bridge, and also at the park, I forget the name of it.
Lake Lavon, so far that's an unexplored area for me. Did some research and it does appear to be a great fishery for cattin. Does anyone have any bank locations they would be willing to share with the forum? Thx.
