Some good advice above. I would go with Frogg togs or Gore-Tex rain gear (NOT PVC). I normally fish like I wuold anyway, a CB is neraly always tied on, but the spinnerbait and chatterbait mentioned above are also good choices. As suggeseted, darken up on your colors a littl bit for soft plastics, too. Hope thsi helps.
Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

645 am Saturday are u here yet?
Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

If you dont have the money, frogg toggs are the way to go, otherwise 200 mph BPS rain suit is elite. Moving to a moving bait is a good way to fish when the rain comes in. After the rain, might have to change up the entire ball game.

I've always done well with a moving bait when it was raining in the spring. Try a spinnerbait or chatterbait or squarebill and go chunking. Stay shallow in 1-6' and you'll catch em. and topwaters thats what i do in the rain.
