I lost a great friend suddenly today to a heart attack. She and I attended and taught together at NSU ( the same school playing Florida right now). She was only 39. She had no family but has left behind a husband who is not handling it well at all. Please send a kind word to the man to give him the strength to handle this sudden blow. I can't stress enough the importance of taking care of yourself. For all of you TFF'rs, please have the courage to be the inspiration that helps a loved one see another year no matter how much it hurts or how big the fight is.

Prayers for your friend, her fiends and family and you also. Remember the good times, the memories. I know no one wants to hear this in your time of mourning, but cherrish her life not her death. I lost my dog and hunting companion in May of 2004 and just last year it got easier to let go. It will be a long road but you will get through it. Again, my prayers for a speedy lifting of the heavy weight that is upon your hearts.
