Hope your next batch is better.

Lol, got a fridge in she shop...surprisingly is doesnt ever smell though. Even when it was inside my truck for the whole summer, never smelt the stuff. Granted, I always make sure the lid is on nice and tight.

I see now, heck yea I'd be mad too. A gallon is a lot to throw away or try to fix. Don't know if they still do "return to sender" to skip out on postage but a good idea. I sure hope things work out for you. What's been said said a million times,if you mess up,own it and do your best to resolve the issue.A lot of small companies write it off as good advertising and word of mouth works both ways. CJ's is a great product, something must have happened to QC dept.
PS
CJ's, send me a private message and I'll give my address to send me a gallon of your finest for sticking up for you. smile

CJ's is a good bait. I know it's good, I use it, Weldon Kirk uses it, so there's no issue it's a good bait. BUT dodo happens. As many folks that have complained, it's very possible a bad batch got out. Or it sat in Academy's warehouse for too long. CJ's needs to take care of it. The main issue I have with how they have handled it is their advise to add Wesson oil or BUY their enhancing oil. When you buy their bait, you shouldn't have to add anyting to it to make it work. Not right off the shelf.
maybe a date of packaging on the container might help a guy know he's buying fresh and not last years.
