been lurking for a bit, figured id say hello. I have a boat also, but bought a kayak last november and really love it.Nothing fancy, a 10 foot angler, but does everything i need so far.I mainly fish Ray Hubbard and Lavon, but probably will start venturing out to other area lakes soon. Holler at me if you see me, i'm usually wearing my bright orange shirt.

How do you like that Angler 10? Is it comfortable without a seat? Does it track well (for a 10')?
Looking at getting a SOT, and since I fish a lot of narrow creeks and rivers, a 10' would probably be ideal.

I think I saw you last year out of Paddle Point, north side of the tracks. Great looking fish.

Nice rig. I fish Hubbard and Lavon quite a bit out of my yak. I fished Hubbard last night actually. IF you ever want to meet up shoot me a message.

I have yet to take my yak out to Hubbard or Lavon, though I've bank fished Lavon a bunch near the dam. We should go out and fish sometime, I'm trying to get out there this weekend or next.

My son and I fish Lavon a lot but mainly for catfish. My son has a red perception sport and I have a camo Ocean Kayak. We will swing by and say Hi if we ever see ya.

I like my angler, not bad for getting into the sport. I got the 10 foot since it was easier putting in my truck by myself, the seat is terrible though! i use a cushion to sit on.I might try hubbard again this sunday or monday depending on weather. The birds are really hitting hard north of miller road by the railroad crossing..its a feeding frenzy around 9 to 10 am around there past few days.i'll post on here if i head out, it would be nice to get out with someone else.

Welcome, nice looking kayak, I fish Hubbard, Lavon as well, they are close, and have fish. Another great kayak lake is called South Lake just south of Farmersville.

Let me know and we can try and get out.
