If you are budget minded, I have one of the new AllStar Nano Big Crankbait Ross and like it so far. Academy has them for I think $89.00.
Still looking for a double digit. PB LMB 9.65# August 2012 O.H. Ivie

My father and brother both use Shimano Cumara 7'11" mh cranking rods. They handle deep divers and large bass very well. They have the older style black rods and not the new red rods.

fishingbud,
What are you looking for, an all around CB rod or something for square-bills or deep divers? Talking a HUGE difference from one end to the other. What kind of CBs you planning on using it with? Traps, square-bills, medium depth, deep divers? All (all around rod) or something more specific? What is your budget? LOTS of rods that can help you, but we need to know more about what you are wanting to throw on it, than just a CB. More than glad to help, but befoer we get specific, we need to know more general information from you. Hope this helps quantify what you might be looking for.
Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

The Kistler 2013 Helium Crankbait is a better rod imo. About the same money as Cumara. Great customer service too.
