for those who don't read striper thread...
Where to start??? Thanks to all of you who fished with us. The lake temps are up to lower to mid 50's and stripers are on the feed! We have slabbed up sandies,caught fish on soft baits on structure,deadsticked,Dave even trolled a bit "shhh" and every afternoon we chased gulls...man what fun! On some days the last 2 weeks it's been a bad day to be a shad and the gulls have made it very easy to locate the schools. These schools that we know of are anywhere from tabletop to oil well point and highport all the way west almost to annex. Overall lack of water has seemed to keep the fish mid lake alot this year.
This spring break we ran double charters pretty much 10 days straight & other than a few shabby morning trips that the fish were tough to catch it was just flat out awesome! Nobody likes when it's tough. What I do love is watching young anglers feel that excitement & putting a whoopin on the grown ups like last thursday morning...

All in all it was a great spring break run and the amount of 6-12 pound fish Texoma has is just unreal! Almost every trip sees double digit fish. A real real big one will be caught this year i just know it...hope it's my boat
