Yep SUCKS but sounds to me pretty much self inflicked (thanks for the reminder need to go check my oil)Sorry I callum like I see um all coulda been avoided pretty easy except the hardheads

did you call police when your rods were stolen? if not, you should always do so, you never know what could happen. I had 4 rods stolen from my driveway while I was working on my boat, ran in to pee, came out and they were gOne. I called police and they were like "wtf do you want us to do?" they pretty much said I'd never see them again.
I got a call 3 hours later, "hey we found your rods". turns out some kid grabbed them and took them home... his mom saw them and called the police.
Sucks about everything man. [censored] happens. Hope you make it back on the water soon.

Im just hope that the cops find the guys that stole them and not bigcathunter you could say i know him like a brother cuz if he finds them there will be a live viking burial in port a. Light there a** on fire and send em out to sea.... But not after they burn a bit lol good luck bro

Its sad but this day in age you can't leave anything unattended or it will be gone. Need to always fish with a friend these days so one can watch your stuff when the other goes in a store.

Bummer! I have had days & trips similar to yours & others. I was planning to get back into the saddle last May. My uncle's P/U blew a head gasket. So our trips would have cost more. Waited for heat to end, but then mid-September, my P/U cracked a head & or piston. Sheared off #8 spark plug. Water in oil about 2 inches higher on dipstick. Had to get a work car that is fair on gas mileage. So currently building back up to get back in the saddle sometime in April. Will be making up new lines this weekend & the next. And then using my sister's Porta-Bote for awhile until we can figure out how to get bigger boat & launch it.
