My wife and I fished Fork on Sunday and Monday. It had been probably 18 years since I had last been on Fork. We stayed at Lake Fork Marina and Motel and had a great time. Great hospitality by everyone, and everyone was super nice! We were totally flying blind, as far as where to fish. I had some general ideas after reading the Forum but just had to try it out to see. After this past weekend, we're hoping to give it one more shot the first of April. Here's a few pics of her best three.

Great job for flying blind! What criteria did you use to choose the spots you did pick?

Generally, the most talked about areas. Birch Creek seemed to get a lot of mentions. And, I remember from way back in the day, Mustang and Little Mustang getting a lot of talk. Nothing to scientific, just kinda taking what you hear, and then seeing for yourself. On a side note, I could see where if the wind would have laid some, there is no telling what a guy could do in the shallows right about now.

Thanks! Being from central Arkansas, I love to sight fish our clear water lakes. I was surprised at how realitively clear the water was in Fork. If the wind would have eased up some, I would have loved to spent some time really looking for bedding fish. We had a blast though!
