I launched at Ray Roberts park (IDB) this weekend and purchased the $70 annual pass. This allows me to enter any state park and Ray Rob, the park entrance gets me in to the ramp without an addl fee to launch. i was wondering about a lot of ramps in the state that are operated by the Texas Parks and Wildlife. Does my Annual Pass cover these ramps too? The site is not very clear on this.... http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/state-parks/texas-state-parks-pass

You can also get tagged with an "After Hours" charge for night fishing wich is total BS! With Annual Pass increase to $70, they should not charge more to fish at night too!

also go to a state park to get one of those hangers for your rear view ....then at at unattended state ramps you dont have to fill out those forms for your truck ...big time saver.

It will get you into any of them to launch. If you camp or stay in a cabin, you won't be charged the extra amount for additional people to stay each night.

Also everyone in your vehicle gets in free or if you are in someone else's vehicle your pass gets everyone in free.
Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional!
