I made it out there on Thursday and got skunked. I threw everything at them. Square bill, shakyheads, jigs, deep diving cranks, rattle trap, C-Rigs. No takers. At least the weather was nice...

I saw that dust in two ponds in Lewisville yesterday too, looked closer and saw the little larvae or whatever they are. It almost looked like blown brown grass clippings, but it definitely wasn't.

Saw the same thing years ago around this time! We were camped out during spring break at twin coves! We were wondering what it was when all of the sudden Mosquitos were eating us alive! So that's what we figured it was! Mosquito larva! But I'm not the brightest crayon in the box so who knows! We caught around 25 w 5 overs today with our best 5 going around 20.5! Cover water is really all I can say! I threw 5 things and got bit on all of them!

Fished GV yesterday afternoon. Didn't expect a good bite with the cold front, but managed about a 4 lb on a lizard on a shakey head in shallow water near a north boat ramp. Not sure the name of the creek. Read a report about that on Fork and gave it a try. Another small buck on a red trap. Anybody else do better? From the report of Media, maybe I should have fished EM!
