I have been reading a lot about Abu reels made in Sweden. I have two 5600 C4s and one 7000 I. The two 5600s are about 12 tears old and say made in Sweden on the handle side. The 7000I has the same crest on the left side and I think it says made in Sweden but can't red it. Can someone tell me if the crest is a sign that it is made in Sweden or not.

I just bought one and it is as you described. I couldnt find where it was made on the box or paper work or on the reel. I suspect china. The reel costs 94 dollars on the internet. I do love the reel, but wonder where it was made.

7000's are made in china now. Well the red I and the IC3 are. Not sure about internationals. What you really needa know is to just say away from the bcx model abu's not necessarily where it's made. Also the kalex version is [censored] also

If it has the emblym, im pretty sure its made in sweeden.... if its shiny.. and no emblym... i dont think it is... i dont use em
