Headed out to Gilmer on Saturday and just wondering if the fish were bitting. I haven't been since last year so I hate to drive for 2 hours if nothing is going on. Any help would be appreciated, not looking for any honey holes but just general info that will help a fellow TFFer get bit. Thanks for your help.

Good fishing to everyone this weekend and be safe.

It's been SLOW. Very few fish have been weighed in at the tournaments.

We fished it a couple a weeks ago. 10 fish all day 1 keeper that was 8.85# though. Its still real slow out there. I bet you the weekend of the 16th will be good though.

I went yesterday and they were biting and tons on the bed but the wind just killed the sight fishing. They are hitting on topwater all day rightnow

Open tournament there this past weekend and 22lbs didnt get a check - my guess is they are on beds. Fish where you think beds are and hold on!

Went last weekend....slow and windy! The grass has absolutely taken over that little lake.

Friday in the grass and wind was some of the best bed fishing I've ever had.
