I am mounting a RAM on my cap just in front of the throttle, the RAM is flat, the cap has a slight curve, anyone dealt with this and have suggestions, I assume some sort of shim needs to be used so everything is "tight" all the way around?

A post several weeks ago mentioned starboard as a shim material. The post was on 2/27. Last two posts talks about shims for a curved application. I think the original topic was ram alternative. Good luck
