BTW, congrats to Dennis for making the final round tomorrow.

I think most of the orange crowd would have attended a classic in LA, Shreveport, but I don't see those folks coming to DFW to attend...
Not saying we wouldn't have a large crowd in DFW. But you know how these boys are about saying they will show, then not...
I would love to have one close to the house some day... Hope it happens soon

Texas will not get a Classis unless there is a suitable body of water with a convention center CLOSE by. Common knowledge.

Yeah, silly me.

Texas has no suitable bass fisheries anywhere in the state.

And there are no major metropolitan areas with any convention centers within a 90 mile drive (see Tulsa and Grove, Ok/Grand Lake - 92 mile drive).

Why would B.A.S.S. ever want to come to Texas?

Lake Conroe, I think would be a good spot with the convention at Houston. Dallas wouldn't work. It just reminds people of the Cowboys.

Yes, you are right. If they are willing to have the launch site and the convention center 90 miles apart, then there is no reason to not have a Classic in Texas. I honestly did not know they were driving that far this year.
