probably way behind the curve on this one, but can someone recommend a good 1/8oz and 3/16oz shakeyhead jig with a pretty solid hook that wont bend so easily?
Been using spot remover's pro series and I'm not the least bit impressed. Would like to find a tungsten version with a similar stand up style head with screw style holder, but with a hook thats worth a dang.
thanks in advance-

No tungsten. But we use a 5/0 Mustad hook. The largest fish we've landed is a 20+ pound accidental gar. Hook didn't even come close to bending.

I agree with the TroKar comments, but most people aren't willing to pay $2+ for a shaky head. We do use TroKar in our jigs, though. In fact Chapman started using a MESU jig yesterday and moved up from 53rd to 20th.

Sorry for the confusion, as I stated above, Mustad in our shaky heads. TroKar in our other jigs, wobble heads and Raptor jigs. A TroKar shaky head would be pretty amazing, I just don't think there is a market for that expensive of a shaky. Brent is using some prototype standard jigs that we are working on for next year. We make a TroKar shaky head for Brent but they are his hooks.

I've never had a problem with the KVD Strike King shakey head hooks - except when a big catfish went crazy on me one time.
In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.
