I've been fishing the canals at Jefferson park. Caught 2 bass and a catfish today in about 45 min. Bite has been slow the past month but it's picking up. I caught a 6 on Tuesday and a couple other small ones.

Google "Jefferson Park" and choose either the reply for Irving or Las Colinas.
I've caught decent bass there and I've seen 2 Koi that would go 10 lbs at least.

Anybody ever fish by the Marriott? I haven't been in awhile but would usually catch a couple bass and crappie...

Just throw in a road runner or a rattle trap and walk around the canal, you will catch some fish

Went out today to the canal by Jefferson park. Caught a nice 10lb carp and two catfish.
Is there any other type of fish in that canal? Seems to me like only catfish and carp are in there

Have no idea where Jefferson Park is, but i know several other canals in LC choked with MONSTER BASS, and EYE POPPING SIZED CRAPPIE. AND NOW IS THE TIME TO GET EM. BEST BITE AT NIGHT. DEEP NIGHT

There use to be bass a plenty in Jefferson Park. I'll be over there in about 2-3 hours. The wind will be brutal, but it doesn't deter me.
