I pull into a cove in Birch this AM. Set to fish. Grand kids with me. Look behind me and 4boats following me, single file. Two take my right side. Two take my left side and start fishing within 20 yards on each side. The shoreline is about 500 yards long. What's wrong with this picture????
I just pulled up and found another place to fish.

That's why my boat won't touch the forktress until May. I just can't stand the crowds any more.

 Gonna be a bunch of whining, you can bet on it! And I'm not implying you are whining, gene30. What those four boats did was ignorant and discourteous. That's why I choose to fish elsewhere this time of year.

I didn't see any boats within a mile around me. Over 4 hours I had about 4 boats idle by going elsewhere.
Last two days I saw at least 4 boats blow under the No Wake bridges. Boat lanes Ok except for the bass boats with 4 people going 25.

Staying out of birch will solve alot of you overcrowding problems....

If a creek is namdd on hrre you can expect crowds. Stay away from community spots.
