I currently have Verizon cell phone service and have trouble getting service on Toledo primarily the south end. I’m about to get a new cell phone and was going to see if anyone have better luck on T-bend with their provider.

ATT works at the camp. Camp is in Sandy Creek.

I have AT&T and usually get no signal until I get out on the water. Once I'm on the lake, I can usually get a bar or two in most areas. The best provider in that area is CellularOne of East Tx.

The lady who owns six mile marina has AT&T. She said its an AT&T tower near the sportsman on hwy 87. Verizon is a no go until you get some places on the water.

the all suck in that area, one way or another. Someone needs to put a tower (1,2 or 3 right on the edge of the lake.

Verizon does not work at fin-n-feather. You can go to Lakeview park and get decent Verizon service. Verizon also works on the Louisiana side on highway 6. To solve the lack of Verizon service, I purchased an AT&T go phone. Generally, the service is O.K. As stated above, the AT&T service is excellent at the Sportsman on highway 87.
I talked to Verizon about the lack of service in the Toledo Bend area and got nothing but a "song and dance."
It is frustrating; however, the go phone is a solution.

Its gotten better but still not perfect. Personally I wish it was the way it was 5-6 years ago and you were dam lucky to get a text to go out. How did we ever catch fish without cell phones back in the day.

Go AT&T, I live on the south end, and At&T is the only thing that works, it doesn't always work great but it works.
