Sanding and buffing boat, what wax works best after I'm done for protection?

I'm not sure, I read an article yesterday that said do not use carnuba. I can't find the original article now but here is the gist;

Wax types based on naturally occurring compounds, carnauba, bees, paraffin have a long record of use and work well but tend to erode when washed with water and detergents. Synthesized waxes, those with silicone, Teflon polymer based, tend to not be water soluble, have UV shields incorporated and will have a longer life.

They mentioned a product called driven (never seen it myself)

Good luck with it... my boat is the same color scheme, is that an Astro or ProCraft?...

go find some lucas fast wax spray, get some mothers or mcquires pure carnuba.

wax it with the carnuba (2 coats) then a spray of the lucas. use the lucas after the water.

will keep it looking like a mirror.

Don't use a wax. Use a poly sealer.

Wax does not last as long and a sealer gets into the pores in the glass better.

Do a google search about fiberglass waxing and you'll see what the pro's use.

I use what I use on my vehicles, Porter Cable 7424xp polisher with Uber foam pads with Meguiars 105 for correction and 205 for polish then Meg's tech wax 2.0 for protection. Meg's QD spray to wipe down in between. Makes her pop.

Flat-out best thing I have found. If you don't seal it the haze will come right back.

10 year old boat used very often still holding deep rich colors.

or Old English. Yesterday I washed mine for the first time in over a year. I used some tire shine on the rub rail and of course some got on the fiberglass. This spurred me to thinking and I remembered the Pledge thing.
